Ox + Anchor, in partnership with the SLO Film Center, takes you on a culinary journey to experience Tony, a movie exploring the early career and life of Anthony Bourdain, at the adjacent Palm Theater.

Long before Bourdain became one of the world’s most beloved food and travel storytellers, he was the executive chef of Les Halles, the legendary New York City brasserie that helped launch his career.

Chef Ryan has long admired Bourdain’s approach to food and storytelling, as well as the classic French cooking that shaped his early career. His own culinary background includes time working with Thomas Keller and at Auberge du Soleil, where he developed an appreciation for the traditions and techniques of French cuisine. In tribute to Bourdain and his time at Les Halles, Chef Ryan will feature a special menu celebrating the classic French brasserie dishes and spirit of the iconic New York restaurant.
